A day established to help support the independent owners of record stores across the USA, we’d also like to include the independent musicians who often put everything they have into releasing their music to the world.  As we near Record Store Day 2021 we’re constantly reminded of the unique times we find ourselves in. Record Stores, which are stalwart bastions of the way we used to shop for music, are under siege by a pandemic which keeps an already dwindling consumer base from reaching their shops. While we would always prefer that customers visit the local shops on Record Store Day, or any day for that matter, please support them this year by buying from them online if you are unable to reach a physical location.

While Night is Alive is not a traditional record store, we are an independent label who offers physical music, CDs and Vinyl, to those who love jazz music. Because of the pandemic this year, much of our music did not end up the shelves of our local record stores, but you can still buy from us directly. If you buy a CD or Vinyl from us, please take a moment and visit a local record shop, either online or in person, as well just to show your support.
